Bridle Leather Stitched Belt

This English bridle leather belt features hand-stitching in black, red, natural and taupe threads and is available in Tan. This belt is 1 1/2" wide (38mm) and is hand-made in England from luxurious bridle leather with high-quality and durability achieved through time-honoured English traditional craftsmanship. 

The bridle leather is fixed with a solid brass buckle which has been made in the foundries of the Midlands. Twelve separate hand processes go in to the making each belt. Cutting with a hand plough gauge, shaping with the round knife and rounding the edges. Veining with a hot iron to give a decorative line, staining with specialist dyes and sealing the edge to protect the leather. Punching the buckle holes and crew hole for the buckle pin, stitch marking with a pricking iron before hand-stitching. Blocking the keepers (loops) for the best look and function, before a final finishing polish to buff up the leather
