Webbing Belt

Bench-made from woven textile webbing and leather ends, this stylish belt is in navy with a burgundy central stripe and brown leather. The webbing is 1” wide and is finished with an English Bridle leather tab and a solid brass buckle.

This webbing belt has been hand-stitched to secure the solid brass buckle. Twelve separate hand processes go into the making each belt in this time-honoured traditional English method. Cutting with a hand plough gauge, shaping with the round knife and edge staining with specialist dyes to seal and protect the leather. Punching the buckle holes and crew hole for the buckle pin, stitch marking with a pricking iron before hand-stitching. Blocking the keepers (loops) for the best look and functionality, before a final finishing polish to buff up the leather.
